Edwards House Opens Its Doors

Edwards House Elevator
Framingham Center Manager Diane Montgomery shows off a new elevator, one of the many new additions that have made the Edwards House building more accessible.

August/September 2005

According to Don Remick, Outgoing Chair of the Board, Edwards House is now open after months of construction.  “The Edwards House has been undergoing renovations throughout the year.  It has been a long process as the not unexpected surprises of renovations slowed the work.  This project, made possible by a gift from the members of the Central Congregational Church of Newtonville at its closing and The Gift & The Promise Campaign has finally been completed and groups have again begun to meet and enjoy the hospitality of an expanded, newly accessible and beautifully charming old farm house.”

Edwards House, the main facility at the Framingham Conference Center, has four meeting areas, a dining hall and shared sleeping accommodations for 28 people. For rates and more information contact Judy Anderson at andersonj@macucc.org or at (508) 875-5233.
