Jen Fenner, a member of the First Church Congregational UCC in Templeton, takes a break after sorting stuffed animals with fellow volunteers. The animals go to Project Smile, an organization that supplies police stations with stuffed animals for children who need to be comforted. This formerly full box was emptied and its contents sorted by the members of the Mustard Seed Ministries – an expansion of the MACUCC Outdoor Ministries program – which encourages high school age youth to participate in hands on-mission opportunities.
