Host churches are wanted for LGBT consultations

Dear friends,

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of a national consultation on the future of LGBT ministry and advocacy in the United Church of Christ. The UCC Coalition and the Massachusetts Conference are seeking churches to host small local or regional consultations over the next few months. This conversation, which began at the Coalition’s National Gathering last June in Chicago, is now in its nation-wide phase.

More details of the consultation are explained in the overview. Click here to read or download (pdf). Training is provided for facilitators.

If you can offer your church as a consultation site, please email Karen Methot methotk@macucc.org as soon as possible.

Thanks and blessings,

Rev. Dr. Jim Antal, Minister and President, Massachusetts Conference UCC
Rev. Dr. Peter Wells, Associate Conference Minister, Massachusetts Conference UCC
Ms. Kathie Carpenter, Chair of MACUCC ONA Ministry Team and UCC Coalition National ONA Consultant
