A Sacred Conversation On Race
May 18, 2008
On Friday, April 11th, USA Today will publish a full page ad for the UCC inviting the nation to enter a sacred conversation on race and asking other communities of faith to join our preach-in scheduled for Trinity Sunday, May 18.
This ad clearly puts the UCC on public record as a church willing to grapple forthrightly with difficult, important issues.
Together we must ready ourselves for this important preaching opportunity and the intentional dialogues that must follow in the months to come.
