Some
institutions, not included in the budget of the Conference,
are recognized by the Board of Directors as Conference-related
and deserving of support. The Board has approved annual solicitation
of churches by the following:

Friend:
Dedicated to extending the ministry of churches,
organizations, and concerned individuals to meet the unmet spiritual,
social, emotional, and physical needs of seafarers, maritime
workers, and their families in the New England maritime community.
- City
Mission Society of Boston
Dedicated to working with the urban poor
to fashion a vision of wholeness of human life against the
realities of economic, racial, and social injustice; to
hold that vision and its responsibilities before the churches
of the United Church of Christ and the people of Metropolitan
Boston; and to work with the urban poor toward the fulfillment
of that vision.

Health and Human Services Ministries Institutions
- Worcester
Area Mission Society (WAMS)
The designated social ministry arm of the Central
Association of the Conference, WAMS works with congregations
and other institutions to renew struggling communities by creating
sources of neighborhood, social, and human capital.
