On Oct. 4 at 6:15pm, Hancock Church in Lexington will hold its Third Annual Blessing of the Animals evening service in Clark Hall! We’ll celebrate the importance of animals in our lives and give thanks for the wonder and diversity of God’s creation. All animals and their human caretakers are welcome. Pet treats and human treats will be provided. Everyone is welcome! Whether you are young or old, gay or straight, single or partnered, believe a little or a lot, you are welcome! Our worship space is informal and you are invited to come as you are. We sing and enjoy music with the River Rock Band and a wide variety of guest musicians. We think together about what it means to live a life of faith in the here and now. We make time to share our joys and concerns. We share the meal that Jesus shared with his friends, and we share it with one another. Come! Refresh your spirit in community with others on the journey!
