Music Video Brings Anthem "Three Five 0" to Life

fred smallIn anticipation of the International Day of Climate Action on Oct. 24, Marty Ostrow of Fine Cut Productions, LLC (originator of the Renewal documentary) has created a music video of Fred Small's environmental anthem, "Three Five 0".

Composer Fred Small (left) earned a master's degree in natural resources concurrently with a law degree and went on to practice law for the Environmental Defense Fund.  He began writing and performing topical songs while in grad school, finally leaving law for a full-time career as a singer/songwriter with a strong social change focus.

Currently, Fred is senior minister at First Parish Church, UU in Cambridge.  He co-founded Religious Witness for the Earth, and has continued to maintain a strong commitment to the environment throughout his varied career.  He wrote this song for the 350.org campaign.  He is joined on the video by Rosi and Brian Amador, well-known musicians in the Latin American song movement who co-founded the nueva canción group, Flor de Caña and currently perform with their group, Sol y Canto
