CE Communities of Practice welcoming new members

9/28/2016

There are Christian Education Communities of Practice in each area of the Massachusetts Conference, open and welcoming to those involved with Christian Education or Youth Ministry in their congregations. These groups are intended to support educators and youth workers by providing networking and increased awareness of UCC resources, and providing a forum to discuss the best practices of Christian education and youth ministry found throughout the Conference.

Anyone who would like to participate is encouraged to contact Ellie Richardson, Associate Conference Minister for Lay and Clergy Development.

If for some reason a regional group does not work for you, the Conference also has four upcoming gatherings taking place at the Edwards House Meeting Center in Framingham: October 22, December 10, March 11  and April 8.  Following the retirement of Elsa Marshall, these gatherings are now facilitated by Kerry Mortland, who has been Church School Superintendent at East Weymouth Congregational Church for over 32 years. These gatherings are free but advance registration is required.
