Together, As One Prayer CalendarMembers of the Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts Conferences are being invited to enter into an intentional season of prayer between now and the historic Tri-Conference Annual Meeting being held June 16  - 17.

The Planning Team that developed the United in Ministry and Ministry Case Statement will be publishing a weekly Prayer Calendar, available online and via email, that includes, an introductory quote from the statement, prayer themes, a Scripture verse, and a prayer.

The resources has been developed by the Rev. Dale Azevedo, Pastor of the Barrington Congregational UCC in RI and the Rev. Cleo Graham, Community Minister of the Beneficent Congregational Church in Providence, RI.

"We invite you to use this prayer calendar in any way that you would find meaningful, within either your congregation or your personal spiritual life," they write in the introduction. "A new prayer selection will be offered each Friday from the first full week in March through the last week before we gather in Hartford."

The Prayer Calendar was a direct response to the people who filled out a survey last year about the tri-Conference merger proposal, who indicated that they would be willing to pray over the idea. The 350 people who said they were willing to pray on it have begun receiving the prayer calendar via email.  Anyone can sign up to receive them here.
