Thank you for telling your story
What other unique programs and events can you share?
Since Spotlight was introduced, over 50 people have shared their stories. During the past two years, clergy and lay people have reported how their fellow members helped: raise funds for the local food pantry and shelters, conduct community events to invite neighbors into their church, make visitors and new members feel welcomed, support soldiers with supplies and prayers, lighten the burden for stressed families, reach out to the poor around the world, find new ways to come together in fellowship, and offer non-traditional worship services to attract different types of people seeking God's Word.
Each article has planted a seed around the UCC gardens of the Massachusetts Conference. It's possible that a fellow UCC member read the article and was inspired to do the same at his or her own church -- helping to grow the flowers of mission, fellowship and membership.
Thank you to everyone who told their stories. By sharing your ideas, you are nurturing local church vitality, helping all the UCC churches in the Massachusetts Conference to bloom, and showing that God is Still Speaking.
