"Either we allow our discipleship to Jesus Christ to affect our relation to money or money will affect our relationship to Christ." - James Hudnut-Beumler, Generous Saints: Congregations Rethinking Ethics and Money

Stewardship is all about faith: Our belief that all we have comes as a gift from God, and our faithfulness in our use of God's gifts. Christian stewardship encompasses much more than just money, yet it also most certainly includes money. Jesus taught again and again about money and possessions. His church can do no less.

There are five objectives of Stewardship in the local Church:

1. Help adults, youth and children grow in their faith as it relates to time, talent and treasure;

2. Help adults, youth and children understand and make appropriate life choices;

3. Provide opportunities for faithful stewardship through:

4. Connect participants with the wider mission of the church;

5. Be a faithful steward of the resources provided by the members.
