Super Saturday!
Saturday, October 2, 2010
Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School
147 Pond Street, Franklin, MA
A day for local church leaders
- lay and clergy - to network & learn
What’s it all about?
Join hundreds of delegates, pastors and lay leaders from all over the Conference for our first SUPER SATURDAY – a full day of workshops and networking around best practices for church leaders. The day will have something for everyone in your church - educators, mission committee members, clergy, deacons, treasurers and others - so we hope you’ll gather a team and make your way to Franklin! We know from experience that when teams receive leadership training together, church vitality is enhanced.
The Massachusetts Conference plans to hold Super Saturdays twice annually in various parts of the Conference as a supplement to the one-day Annual Meeting. This Super Saturday will revolve around the same theme that was introduced at the 211th Annual Meeting in June - “Provoke One Another… to Love and Good Deeds” (Hebrews 10:24-25).
The Conference staff and Annual Meeting Planning Committee feel so strongly that churches will benefit from taking part in both the Annual Meeting and Super Saturdays that we are offering a transferable Super Saturday discount to Annual Meeting delegates. The pricing will work as follows:
Annual Meeting Delegate rate: $29.00*
Regular rate (deadline: Sept. 20): $49.00
all prices include catered lunch and materials
* Please note that the Annual Meeting Delegate rate IS transferable. Annual Meeting delegates received coupons in their delegate packets good for the reduced rate, and they may give that coupon to someone else in their church if they wish.
