Changes made in Christian Ed ministry

October/November 2006

Conference Associate for Youth and Christian Education Ministries Carl McDonald has taken a new position with the City Mission Society of Boston (CMS).  He will direct an urban ministry immersion program for youth, much like the Mustard Seed Ministries program he initiated with the Massachusetts Conference.  The  CMS program will welcome participation by MACUCC churches and offer more opportunities for congregations to partner with local agencies.

During the restructuring of the  Conference, many of the Youth and Christian Education Ministries programs will be coordinated by Associate Conference Minister Susan P. Dickerman, Elsa Marshall and other staff members.  McDonald will still be involved in some programs, including some mission trips.   Christian Education Com-munities of Practice are being launched by Dickerman and a new email newsletter will be sent monthly to educators and youth ministers.

For additional information, visit www.macucc.org, call Sue Dickerman, Cindy Bolton, or Resource Center Coordinator Martha Cook, at the Framingham office.
