Lobby Day on Boston’s Capital Hill

Debbie Clark, left, pastor of Edwards Church UCC, Framingham, was one of more than 50 UCC members from across the state who participated in Lobby Day at the State House, Boston, on March 10. At right is Joan Sanniuk, a minister of the Metropolitan Community Church. They were among 150 clergy and lay persons from 18 faith traditions who visited Massachusetts legislators, asking them to reject any amendment to the Massachusetts Constitution barring gay and lesbian marriage.
