December Deadline Looms for New M&P Applicants

With the help of Lorin Cope of the National UCC staff,  Search Committee members have narrowed the sought-after qualities for the new Minister and President to seven.  These qualities:

• Vision
• Executive Leadership
• Communication
• Faith and Spiritual Grounding
• Embrace of Diverse Communities           
• Engagement with the Local Church, and
• Stewardship

will be considered instrumental in evaluating candidates. 

Chair of the Search Committee Rev. Jill D. Graham reports that all applicant information, including a position description, statement of interest, application questions, and a profile of the Massachusetts Conference is now available online at http://www.macucc.org/xnews/Profile contents.htm. 

As seen in her letter all interested applicants must submit Statements of Interest before December 15, 2005, in order to be considered.
