Junior High: TBA
Senior High: TBA
|
The Nightwatch program is administered by City Mission Society and its Director of Boston Urban Outreach, Carl McDonald (cmcdonald@cmsboston.org)
St. John’s Cathedral is the largest gothic cathedral in the world.
Located in the heart of New York City, this cathedral offers
a unique program known as Nightwatch. Designed specifically
for youth, the Nightwatch program offers an opportunity to tour
the cathedral, participate in the
Eucharist, have fun and learn about this historic place.
Why
should you bring a group to Nightwatch?
This experience will help them learn what it is to be a part
of the wider church. They will travel and participate along
with other MACUCC youth and adults as well as learn about
the Episcopal tradition.
Please be sure to
register for the proper trip. The junior high trip is available
for youth in grades six through nine. The senior high trip
is available for youth in grades nine through twelve. PLEASE
NO EXCEPTIONS! Groups will have free
time to visit parts of New York City on Sunday from 10:00-2:00.
Transportation
will be via a chartered bus from Framingham. Departure time
will be 11:00 am on the day of departure, (Saturday) and return will be
approximately at 8:00 pm on the next day (Sunday.) All participants
must travel on the bus.
Participation
fee -$110.00 per person (including chaperones and leaders)
Includes admission to the cathedral, pizza dinner, snacks, lodging (on the floor,
