If you’re reading this, I’m guessing you care about the earth. And if you’re like me, you’re intentional about how you spend your time. Recognizing that, I want to encourage you to consider spending a few days (June 22-28, 2015) at Ghost Ranch in northern New Mexico engaged in a retreat with two of my friends/colleagues who will be joined by several Native American Elders to explore what it means to be an Earth Honoring Christian who promotes interfaith efforts on common earth issues. Have a look at the poster to learn who will be joining my friends Larry L. Rasmussen, Reinhold Niebuhr Professor Emeritus of Social Ethics at Union Theological Seminary and Janet Parker, Senior Pastor at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Salem, OR. I would be there but for the conflict with Synod. Hope you can make it.
