Church Based Fellowship in New Ministry Model - Auburn

Established ONA and progressive congregation seeks a development and resource person capable of implementing a new model of community ministry reflective of contemporary demographics, a diverse and secularized constituency, and changing understandings of what it means to be “church.”  The position calls for a person who can work collaboratively to help evolve and formulate non-traditional models of ministry that are socially relevant, encompassing, and reflective of traditional values but not necessarily restricted to conventional forms and formulations.  The situation is part-time and to some measure would be a pastoral apprenticeship working in conjunction with a tenured senior minister.  It carries a stipend, is suitable for a student but not necessarily a track for a traditional candidate for ordination, or is potentially appropriate for any person who feels a call to religiously grounded vocation and understands that in an encompassing manner.
