Leader: Melissa Cooper

The command of Micah 6:8 to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God is a big one. It calls us to transform the world through our relationships with one another and those who are different from us. While that task can be intimidating, we have the opportunity within our church communities to prepare ourselves in ways that we might not expect! In this webinar, we will explore the idea that generations are cultures, and that we can practice cross-cultural skills within our church communities, and then take those skills into the world, intergenerationally. You will walk away from this webinar with practical tools to engage cross-generationally and cross-culturally in your church and community context.

Rev. Melissa Cooper is an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church, called to justice and intergenerational ministries. She currently serves as the Minister of Worship & Arts at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Orlando, FL. She is also an Associate with Vibrant Faith, providing ministry coaching services in the area of intergenerational ministry, cross-generational communication and camp & retreat ministry. Melissa is married to Will, and they are the parents to the cutest poodle you’ll ever meet.
