This webinar will explore the 3 areas of church life that have direct impact on the faith formation of children and youth: Family Engagement, Faith Community Life, and Worship. We’ll explore how churches can help families faithfully form their children, provide the characteristics of a positive faith forming community, and talk about how the meaningful inclusion of children and youth in corporate worship contributes to positive faith formation.

Dr. Ivy Beckwith is an internationally known expert in the church and the faith formation of children and youth. Her books (“Postmodern Children’s Ministry,” “Formational Children’s Ministry,” and “Children’s Ministry in the Way of Jesus”) provide a blueprint for churches interested in meaningful and positive faith formation of children and youth. She is an ordained minister of the United Church of Christ.
