Sexual Harassment can more easily be prevented when everyone, employers and employees, is aware of what constitutes unlawful sexual harassment, how any complaints must be handled, and the responsibilities of supervisors and employees. Case studies will be discussed in this live interactive training with a focus on how to recognize and correct issues in the general workplace as well as situations specific to ministers, church employees, and congregations. This Sexual Harassment Prevention Training is an online and interactive 90-minute session which meets New York State Standards for Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
Penny Cannon has an M.S. in Adult Education and has been an adult educator for over 40 years. She is a training consultant for business and industry across the country. She currently is Director of Organizational Management, a bachelor’s degree completion program for adults, at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY. Penny is the United Church of Christ, New York Conference Coordinator for Boundary Awareness Training. In that role, she writes curriculum and trains trainers for boundary training across the state.
