A Faith Formation Resources Webinar

Bible Story Basics, new from Abingdon Press for Fall 2019, is a comprehensive 3-year Bible study built to help children understand the overarching story of God’s Word. Underlying each aspect of the Bible Story Basics curriculum is the belief that every child should have the opportunity to experience the depths of God’s love for them expressed in the timeless stories of the Bible. Each story-focused session allows the narrative to drive children’s faith formation and provides a rich context for the development of biblical literacy skills’ In this webinar, we will explore the various components of a Bible Story Basics session and how they can be adapted to meet your learning objectives and educational context.

Rev. Nancy Speas Hill is a United Methodist minister, writer, editor, and mom. With experience in a variety of congregational settings, Nancy brings her commitment to active learning through a variety approaches and solid Wesleyan theology to her work with Bible Story Basics and believes, along with her co-writer Daphna Flegal, that the best gift we can share with our children is the ability to access and experience God’s love through Scripture.
