The Needham Coalition for Transgender Equality and Freedom for All Massachusetts invite you to a Community Conversation on Transgender Equality on Wednesday, June 6, 7-8:30pm, at First Parish Unitarian in Needham, 23 Dedham Avenue, Needham.   The event is free and all are welcome.

Join us for a thoughtful conversation about upholding dignity and respect for transgender people, and the threat to human rights for transgender people in Massachusetts in light of the November ballot question that could repeal anti-discrimination laws already in place.

Featured speakers will be Kelly Jenkins, Wellesley Middle School teacher; Tracy McKay, Needham mother of two transgender children; Catie Curtis, Program Manager for Greater Boston PFLAG; Sawyer Bethel, Executive Director of OUT MetroWest; and Taj Smith, Faith Organizing Director at Freedom for All MA.  The Rev. Irene Monroe will moderate the discussion and a question and answer period that will follow.

Coalition Members include OUT MetroWest, Progressive Needham, Temple Beth Shalom, First Parish in Needham UU, Congregational Church of Needham UCC, League of Women Voters of Needham, Needham Diversity Initiative, Needham Human Rights Committee, Greater Boston PFLAG, Christ Episcopal Church Needham, Freedom for All MA.
