The 217th Annual Meeting of the Massachusetts Conference - featuring one of the UCC's most dynamic preachers, Otis Moss III - will be live streamed so people at home can watch online.

The meeting, taking place June 17 and 18 at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, will also feature well-known musician and worship leader Ken Medema.

The plenary sessions and worship services will be viewable at:

"Since UMass offers streaming services, we thought we would take advantage of that this year to measure the level of interest," said Tiffany Vail, Associate Conference Minister for Communications. "If it proves to be popular and seems to be an effective way to connect more people with the wider church, we will look into providing it for other future events."

The extra cost of streaming the event is being covered by the Friends of the Conference, an annual appeal to pay for new and innovative programming that is outside the normal Conference budget.
