More than 200 people have signed up to attend one of 11 focus group gatherings being held Jan. 18 - 23 to give their input on what a new, unified conference might look like. It is not too late to RSVP to attend.
The groups are being held in various churches in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut, and are being facilitated by Jim Schnurbusch, of the St. Louis firm OrgStory
, who has been engaged as a consultant
for this process.
The three southern New England conferences voted last June to go forward with creating a new conference together, and a team is currently working on the details for what that will look like. These focus group sessions will help with that process.
