Inspiring Generosity (Stewardship)

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” Galatians 5: 22-23 (NSRV)

Generosity is a gift of the spirit. Inspiring generosity is one of the most important tasks of the church as we seek to make God’s love and justice real for everyone. This is best accomplished by a year-round cycle. Click on the buttons below to explore the resources available to help you inspire your congregation to new levels of generosity.

As part of its mission to nurture local church vitality, the Massachusetts Conference provides resources on Annual Giving, Capital Campaigns and Planned Giving. Likewise, congregations are invited to be generous themselves, through Our Church’s Wider Mission, socially responsible investing, and greening the church.
